Mountain Biking in Southern California OC Snow – ❄️ 🌴

Dec 28, 2019 | MTB

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We had a white Christmas in Orange County! Of course, we had to bike to the snow.

Maple Spring Trail is located in the Cleveland National Forest where Silverado Canyon road ends. Parking is limited at the trailhead, there is an outhouse and the National Forest Adventure Pass signs are still up. The trail is a 17.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back jeep fire road. Off-road vehicles are permitted in this area when the weather conditions are good.

The snow level was down to around 2500 feet from this storm. Knowing we could bike to snow was the draw for us. Snow in Orange County doesn’t happen all the time so it’s fun to experience it while it’s here.
