I’ve struggled to find the perfect mountain bike short for years. something that fits my “athletic” thighs, while not being too tight or too loose, that fits my waist, that moves with me, has pockets in the right places and of course looks good.
I may have found my new favorites! These shorts do run large so I sized down from my usual medium size and I’m glad I did because the smalls fit!
I think the length is great, they stop just above my knee when I’m standing. These shorts are looking to be my new go-to hiking shorts since they look good on and off the bike.
A few more details that I love are the no-zip gusseted fly preventing bunching in this area when you’re riding. The zippered side pocket is big enough to stash my iphone 12, or whatever I might need to access on the trail.The front pockets have a good depth, unlike so many other women’s pants/shorts pockets.AND! there is a back pocket! I love back pockets on my shorts and so few bike shorts have them. Thanks Club RIde!
